Rabbit Heart Ceramics is a women owned small business operating in Yucaipa, CA. We offer small batch & made to order functional home goods and ceremonial items. Our studio is run out of our home where we create and fire on site. 

 

 

MEET THE MAKER:

My name is Andrea Borges and I grew up in Monterey Park, CA. My pottery journey started in high school and college, where I felt an instant love for the art form. I connected to the ancestral memory of working with clay to create functional items and decorative art. I am inspired by meso-american and precolonial motifs and love creating ceremonial pieces for burning resins and dried herbs.  In 2019, I started Rabbit Heart Ceramics with my partner, Jane Wogahn. We created our first home studio in the back house of our rental property in Pomona, CA and have now settled in Yucaipa, CA. 

My goal with Rabbit Heart is to be an alternative to mass production & purchasing for corporations by providing accessible handmade goods to my community. Everything is quality made with love, care and attention. We hope that your Rabbit Heart pieces bring joy to your day.
